Privacy Policy Statement of Dah Sing 328 Business Mobile Application
Dah Sing Bank, Limited (the "Bank") respects the right to personal data privacy and is committed to complying with requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance ("PDPO").
Your device model, device OS, photo album, locations, camera, your registration details (i.e. 328 Business e-Banking Group ID, User ID & password), IP address and information obtained via biometric identity sensor on your mobile device collected in Dah Sing 328 Business Mobile Application (the "App") may be used by the Bank for the following purposes:
- the Bank will collect your device model, device OS and pages you visited to provide functionality for the App and general statistics purpose. Such general statistics are collected to compile statistical reports and diagnose problems with, or concerning, computer systems to help improve the App;
- if you use the App for logging into your existing Dah Sing 328 Business Mobile Banking service, the Bank will collect your 328 Business e-Banking Group ID, User ID, password, device model, device OS and IP address for identity verification and operation of 328 Business Mobile Banking services;
- the Bank may access the location services of your mobile device from time to time with your permission if you wish to receive location-based push notifications, or wish to know the nearest branch and ATM. You may refuse to give and you may withdraw permission at any time by turning off location services (GPS) and continue to use other function of the App;
- if you use Dah Sing Security Authentication service, the Bank may access the camera / biometric identity sensor of the mobile device with your consent to obtain your biometric identity information for identity verification. However, the data of the camera / biometric identity sensor would not be stored or recorded in the database of the Bank;
- if you use Dah Sing Security Authentication service, with you consent, the information obtained via the camera / biometric identity sensor on your mobile device and details of your registration (i.e. the Security Passcode) may be used by the Bank for (i) Registration of the Security Authentication service; (ii) Login for Dah Sing 328 business e-Banking / Mobile Banking; and (iii) Verification of transaction made via Dah Sing 328 Business e-Banking / Mobile Banking;
- if you use Faster Payment System ("FPS") services, the Bank may access the camera of the mobile device with your consent in order to enable you to scan the QR code while conducting the FPS transaction. However, the data of the camera would not be stored or recorded in the database of the Bank;
- if you use FPS services, the Bank may access the photo album of the mobile device with your consent in order to enable you to select the images from the photo album while scanning the QR code to conduct the FPS transaction. However, the images of the photo album would not be stored or recorded in the database of the Bank;
- if you use FPS services, the Bank may access the social media platforms of the mobile device with your consent in order to share the QR code generated from 328 Business Mobile Banking to social platform for payment purpose; or
- purposes relating thereto.
